Heidi Klum’s 2025 Halloween party — a night of mythological mayhem, celebrity transformations and full-on horror glam

Klum revealed that her 2025 costume was the Greek mythological figure Medusa — complete with full-body green scales, a tail, animatronic snakes in her hair, fangs and a bow and arrow to boot. 
She worked with special‐effects artist Mike Marino and a team of over 15 professionals; the prep reportedly took six months and nine hours of makeup on the day. 
Her husband Tom Kaulitz joined her theme as a Greek soldier turned to stone — nodding to Medusa’s power to turn onlookers into statues.

  • Klum’s annual Halloween bash has become the event to watch each year: she’s thrown it since 2000 (with brief pauses during the pandemic) and each costume is more elaborate than the last. 

  • Her 2025 look pushed the envelope: she focused on being “very ugly” rather than cute, with full prosthetics, mechanical elements (snakes!) and a heavy makeup chair time. 

  • The presence of other celebrities in top-tier costumes makes the event as much about the guest looks as it is about her own. The red carpet becomes a mini fantastical parade of transformation.
