  • Ransone’s breakout role was as Chester “Ziggy” Sobotka in The Wire’s second season, a performance that remains one of the series’ most memorable character arcs. He had a diverse body of work spanning film and television, including roles in Generation Kill, Bosch, Poker Face, It: Chapter Two, The Black Phone and its 2025 sequel Black Phone 2.
