Ben Affleck & Matt Damon Reteam for The Rip

The Rip, a gritty new crime thriller from Netflix, reunites Matt Damon and Ben Affleck — two of Hollywood’s most enduring collaborators — in lead roles.

  • The film premiered in New York City on January 13, 2026, with a star-studded red carpet at Alice Tully Hall. Damon and Affleck not only star but also produced the movie through their Artists Equity banner, pushing for fairer compensation and bonuses for crew members if the film succeeds on Netflix.
