The sudden death of rising underground rapper Luci4, best known for his viral hit BodyPartz, has sparked intense speculation after authorities in Los Angeles confirmed that the case is under active investigation. The 23-year-old artist, whose real name was James Dear, was found dead at a private residence, with early details raising concerns among his family and fans.

According to officials, emergency responders were called to a home in Los Angeles on the morning of February 22 after reports of a medical emergency. When paramedics arrived, Luci4 was already deceased. Law enforcement later secured the property as a potential crime scene and launched an investigation.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed his death but has not yet released an official cause, pending autopsy and toxicology results. Authorities have also stated that they have not ruled out foul play, keeping multiple possibilities open as they examine the circumstances.
